We booked a few days at Sharon's predominantly owing to the photo's of the view. We were not disappointed. We went in early December and the weather was typically Scottish with 4 seasons in one day. Lots to do with the dogs - very relaxing little break. Loadsof nice touches from Sharon enhanced our stay - and resolution of a minor problem in minutes was fantastic. We took two dogs who had a whale of a time with coastal walks and play in the sea. Thanks Sharon.

Sharon’s place is amazing! The lodge is perfect and the view is outstanding! I would highly recommend to any one to stay here. The fact it’s so dog friendly too made it a winner for me instantly. We had a great time, with big walks during the day then nice relaxing evenings in Murphy’s cosy lodge. We plan to return! The lodge itself is big, with everything you need. Sharon and Paul were a real pleasure to deal with too, and lovely people! Thank you so much

Thank you Sharon for a great couple of days. The lodge is just beautiful and the view is amazing. Perfect relaxing weekend, Fred our pup loved it. Very nice touch having you welcome us and check us in, and the bottle of bubbly and dog treats were so thoughtful

Absolutely perfect! Sharon was the best host! Personal touches made our stay even more special! Amazing view and very spacious and clean lodge. Quiet and peaceful, the only noise was the blissful crash of the sea waves. We couldn’t be happier. We will be back very soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic stay at Sharon’s luxury lodge which is in a truly stunning location. To be honest the photos on here don’t really do it justice as the views are absolutely mesmerising; a real tonic for the soul. The accommodation is second to none, it is spotless, tidy and furnished to a high standard whilst still retaining a homely and comfortable feel. Sharon & Paul are the perfect hosts; a real pleasure to meet. They were friendly and helpful and were happy to recommend places to visit as well as the best places to eat and we were delighted to be welcomed with bubbly on ice, biscuits, chocolates and the staples (bread, milk, eggs) to get our break off to a memorable start. There is a small beach which you can see from the lodge where we spent a lovely morning rock pooling. Eyemouth is a lovely fishing village just a short walk along the cliff top where you’ll find a few small shops, cafes and pubs but if you need more shops or supermarkets historic Berwick-upon-Tweed is a short drive away and is well worth a visit. We highly recommend Sharon’s lodge as we were reluctant to leave this perfect spot but we hope to visit again soon

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. Sharon was super helpful and it is a perfect location: you can easily explore some of the fantastic sights, landmarks and nature of Northumberland and Scotland. Lovely coastal walks from right outside the lodge and although it was a little chilly (it was October after all) we wrapped warm for some stargazing in the evenings. A really relaxed break, hope to visit again (with the dog next time).

This is a fantastic lodge, with a fantastic host in an amzing location with a view to die for ... what else can you ask for? Sharon & Paul had everything ready for us when we arrived, including chilled bubbly, some stapes in the fridge and even a treat for the dog. The lodge was immaculate and it extreemly well fitted out and furnished. It's a large lodge, which made it feel more like a home with ample space to spread out. The location as I said is great and a short walk along with cliffside path takes you into Eyemouth or a short drive to one of the other small villages (or a longer walk of course). Your handy for visting Edinburgh or going further noth if you want as well as going South a little to visit Holy Island and other castles and tourist places to be found along the East coast. Beautiful lodge with outstanding views and scenery. Hosts Sharon and Paul were brilliant and met us on arrival. The nearby coastal route walks were outstanding even in the Scottish weather. Couple of nice local restaurants only 10 minutes walk. Lodge itself is immaculate and a brilliant place to stay for a holiday and dog friendly We highly recommend and will be returning in the future
